Our Fossalta di Piave (Venice) site is VF Group's operational hub for eastern Veneto: a fully equipped facility that serves as a logistics and production base for our VF Montaggi teams, supporting manufacturing companies across the provinces of Venice, eastern Treviso, Pordenone, and along the Po Valley corridor toward Ferrara.

The Fossalta di Piave plant includes covered workshops with overhead cranes, a mechanical workshop, an equipment warehouse and dedicated storage areas. This setup allows us to carry out pre-assembly of systems and machinery before on-site installation — an approach that significantly reduces downtime at the client's facility and ensures more accurate quality control during preliminary assembly.

The location is strategic for companies in the Basso Piave and Venice industrial district: the production sites of Venice, Marghera, Portogruaro and Mestre are all less than 40 minutes away, while proximity to the A4 motorway (San Donà di Piave exit) ensures fast response times even for more distant job sites.

What we do in Fossalta di Piave

The Fossalta di Piave site delivers VF Group's full range of services for eastern Veneto: industrial mechanical assembly, machine-side wiring, on-site technical outsourcing, in-house pre-assembly and, as at all our facilities, electrical switchboard manufacturing by VF Elettrica. Teams based here specialise in production line assembly, revamping of existing machinery, installation of industrial plants of any size, and the design and assembly of automation and distribution switchboards.

Our technical office handles electrical design with EPLAN and SPAC for projects managed from this site as well, applying the same CE certification standard (UL/CSA certification on request) used across the group's other facilities.

Among the sectors we work with most frequently are, for example, food & beverage (packaging lines, filling systems, thermoforming equipment), wood and furniture (CNC machining centres, painting systems), and plastics and rubber (presses, handling systems) — sectors typical of the Veneto manufacturing landscape, though by no means the only ones we work in.

For companies that need a stable, ongoing technical team — without managing recruitment, training and safety in-house — we offer technical outsourcing contracts with an on-site VF team leader and monthly progress reporting.
