What we build
VF Elettrica builds electrical panels for machine builders and manufacturing plants, either to the customer's schematic or to one drawn up by our engineering office:
- Automation and control panels — PLC, HMI, machine logic, functional safety.
- Low-voltage distribution panels — power supply to lines and departments, protection and isolation.
- Inverter and drive panels — motors, servo drives, panel thermal management.
- Panels for complete machines — the panel as part of a machine-side wiring supply or of contract machine assembly.
From a one-off panel to a repeat series: for OEMs producing in series we maintain the bills of materials, schematics and build standards that keep every panel identical, order after order.
How we work
- 01 Assessment — review of the schematic, bill of materials and customer specification. Where no schematic exists, our engineering office develops it in EPLAN Electric P8 or SPAC.
- 02 Procurement — components from the brands specified by the customer or, where there are no constraints, from the brands we use as standard.
- 03 Build — enclosure, component mounting, wiring and labelling to the schematic, with traceability of components and checks from order to delivery. Every panel has one operator accountable for it and an intermediate check before testing, with progress updates to the customer during the build.
- 04 Testing — functional and electrical safety checks with dedicated instrumentation, to the applicable standards.
- 05 Delivery — the panel with as-built schematics, declaration of conformity and technical file. On request, installation and commissioning at the customer's site.
Conformity and documentation
Every panel ships with a declaration of conformity and CE marking to the standards applicable to the panel type, including the verifications required by CEI EN 61439 for distribution assemblies. For machines destined for the United States and Canada we build panels compliant with UL 508A and CSA C22.2: that service is described on its own page.

Both. If the customer supplies the schematic we follow it exactly; if there is none, our in-house engineering office develops it in EPLAN or SPAC from the functional specification.
Yes. We build with the components the customer requires, including where these are fixed by the end customer's specification. Where there are no constraints, we propose the brands we use as standard.
Yes, through our machine-side wiring service: the panel is installed, connected and commissioned by our technicians at the customer's site.

Yes. For OEMs producing in series we keep the bills of materials, schematics and build standards on file, so every panel is identical to the last and lead times can be planned.
Yes, CE marking (Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU) is standard on every panel. It covers the technical file, the declaration of conformity, the verifications required by CEI EN 61439 and documented functional testing. UL and CSA conformity for the North American market is available on request.
Lead time depends on the complexity of the panel. A standard panel takes 2-4 weeks from order confirmation; complex panels requiring dedicated design work take 4-8 weeks. We provide a binding schedule at order.
