Industrial Maintenance for Plants and Machinery
Preventive maintenance plans, corrective interventions with on-call support, and scheduled shutdown management. We operate directly at our clients' production sites.
Four types of industrial maintenance
Companies running production plants, production lines and industrial machinery face different maintenance needs depending on how critical the asset is, its condition, and the production continuity targets involved. VF Montaggi covers the full range of interventions, with dedicated technical teams and an on-site VF team leader for every job.
- 01 Preventive maintenance — we build plans starting from an analysis of the client's assets (production lines, machine tools, handling equipment, gearboxes and transmission components), production cycles and the historical failure points recorded on the plant. Interventions are scheduled on a calendar agreed with the client.
- 02 Corrective maintenance — we respond to breakdowns with 24/7 on-call availability across plants, production lines and industrial machinery, with response times contractually guaranteed for clients with an active service-level agreement (SLA).
- 03 Predictive maintenance — we apply diagnostics to electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and transmission components to anticipate failure before it happens, reducing unplanned downtime on our clients' production lines.
- 04 Scheduled shutdowns and turnarounds — we manage the entire plant shutdown with dedicated teams — mechanical technicians, electricians and process engineers — coordinating the intervention plan across hydraulic units, pneumatic systems and machine tools, with full reporting and tracking of the work carried out.
Why VF Montaggi for industrial maintenance
VF Montaggi has been active since 1993 in industrial maintenance and mechanical assembly for northern Italy's manufacturing industry. We operate from 4 sites — San Vendemiano (TV), Fossalta di Piave (VE), San Felice sul Panaro (MO) and Romans d'Isonzo (GO) — with over 100 specialised technicians across our assembly and electrical divisions.
Every job is handled by an on-site VF team leader, with direct responsibility for safety, quality and progress. We put together teams ranging from 2-3 people for targeted interventions up to 15-20 technicians for major shutdowns or ongoing contracts, with reporting and tracking on every intervention carried out.
Industries we serve
Our maintenance teams work mainly on plants and lines in packaging, industrial mechanics, process automation and manufacturing more broadly — the same sectors served by our VF Montaggi and VF Elettrica divisions.
Territorial coverage
We operate mainly in north-eastern Veneto (Treviso, Venice, Vicenza and Verona provinces), in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Pordenone, Udine, Gorizia) and in Emilia-Romagna (Modena, Bologna, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara), with our four operating sites as a base for on-site interventions.
For complementary electrical work on switchboards, machine-side wiring or electrical design during a shutdown, our VF Elettrica division operates in parallel, across the same facilities and organisational structure. To have your maintenance plan assessed, contact us.
- 01 Preventive maintenance Calendar-based plans, built on an analysis of assets and production cycles.
- 02 Corrective maintenance 24/7 on-call availability, response times guaranteed by SLA agreements.
- 03 Predictive maintenance Diagnostics on motors, gearboxes and transmission components.
- 04 Shutdowns and turnarounds Dedicated teams, planning and full reporting on every intervention.
Frequently asked questions about industrial maintenance
Preventive maintenance follows a calendar-based plan, built on an analysis of production cycles and the historical failure points of the plant, with interventions scheduled regardless of the actual condition of the component. Predictive maintenance instead relies on diagnostics of electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and transmission components, stepping in only when the data points to a real risk of failure — cutting down on unplanned downtime.
We start from an analysis of the client's assets, production cycles and the historical failure points recorded on the plant. On that basis we define an intervention calendar, dedicated teams and a reporting method, with an on-site VF team leader responsible for safety, quality and progress.
For clients with an active service-level agreement (SLA), we contractually guarantee defined response times for corrective maintenance, with 24/7 on-call availability. Coverage hours and intervention terms are agreed case by case based on the criticality of the plant.
Yes. Our San Felice sul Panaro (Modena) site handles preventive maintenance, corrective work and shutdown management in the provinces of Modena, Bologna, Reggio Emilia and Ferrara, with the same organisational structure as our other facilities.
We coordinate the entire shutdown with dedicated teams — mechanical technicians, electricians and process engineers — following a plan agreed in advance with the client, to keep plant downtime to a minimum. Every activity is documented, with full reporting and tracking of the work carried out.
